The European Pipeline Research Group e.V. (EPRG) is a registered association of European pipe manufacturers, pipeline operators, installation contractors and service providing companies that are active in the field of pipeline safety. The group was formed to address areas of common interest concerning technical integrity of gas transmission pipelines. There are now 26 EPRG members, based in nine countries, who are responsible for pipe manufacturing capacity of around 4,000,000 tonnes/year, and over 120,000 km of operational high-pressure oil & gas transmission pipeline.

PHL offers consultancy in pipeline engineering and presents training courses and education programmes in pipeline engineering and management.
